The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the implementation of strict measures, including penalties for violating Hajj regulations. A fine of up to 100,000 Saudi Riyals will be imposed on anyone found transporting holders of any type of visit visa to Mecca and the holy sites without official authorization. These penalties will be enforced from the first day of Dhu al-Qi'dah until the end of the fourteenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1447 AH, and the vehicle used in the violation will be confiscated by court order.
