The Deputy Governor of Riyadh performs the funeral prayer for Princess Fawzia bint Saud

In a scene reflecting deep solidarity and strong bonds, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, led the funeral prayer today, following the Asr prayer, for Princess Fawzia bint Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayyan Al Saud – may God have mercy on her. The prayer was held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, amidst a solemn gathering of princes, officials, and citizens who came to offer their condolences and sympathy on this profound loss.
A large crowd attended the funeral prayer for Princess Fawzia bint Saud
The funeral and prayer ceremony was attended by a large number of members of the noble royal family, as His Highness the Deputy Governor of Riyadh led the prayer, along with a number of princes, including Prince Mutaib bin Thunayyan bin Muhammad, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan, Prince Turki bin Fahd bin Mishari bin Jalawi, Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Nasser bin Farhan, Prince Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Saud bin Farhan, and Prince Bandar bin Mishari bin Saud bin Farhan.

Also participating in the funeral prayer were Prince Hathloul bin Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayyan, Prince Badr bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Khalid bin Mohammed, Prince Mishaal bin Mishari bin Saud bin Farhan, Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, and Prince Bandar bin Saad bin Khalid bin Mohammed. Their Highnesses then offered their condolences to the sons of the deceased, praying to God Almighty to grant her His abundant mercy.

This venerable mosque, also known as the Grand Mosque, holds great historical significance, as its name is associated with the founder of the Second Saudi State. This magnificent edifice has long been the main venue for Friday and Eid prayers, as well as the customary place for funeral prayers for prominent figures and members of the royal family, lending the place an aura of solemnity and dignity befitting the occasion.

Their Highnesses the Princes continued to arrive to perform the prayer and offer condolences, as Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayyan, Prince Nawaf bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Mishari, Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayyan, Prince Nawaf bin Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayyan, Prince Mishaal bin Mutaib bin Thunayyan bin Mohammed, and Prince Saud bin Nasser bin Saud bin Farhan were present.

The prayer was also performed by His Royal Highness Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Diriyah, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Hathloul bin Thunayan, Prince Sattam bin Hathloul bin Saud bin Hathloul, His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Saud bin Yazid bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Saud bin Hathloul, Prince Salman bin Hathloul bin Saud bin Hathloul, and Prince Saud bin Nawaf bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Mishari, along with the sons of the deceased.
The ceremony concluded with the participation of a number of dignitaries, officials, and a large gathering of citizens who were keen to be present and participate in performing the prayer, praying to God Almighty to have mercy on the deceased and to grant her a place in His spacious Paradise, and to inspire her family and relatives with patience and solace.
