The Ministry of Interior launches the Absher 2025 conference seal at King Khalid Airport

In a move reflecting the celebration of national technological achievements, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, has launched a special stamp for the “Absher 2025” conference. This initiative coincides with the launch of the conference, which will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, from December 17 to 19 in Riyadh.

Documenting the event through the Kingdom's air ports

The General Directorate of Passports clarified that the new stamp will be available to travelers arriving in Saudi Arabia through King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh throughout the duration of the conference. This initiative aims to commemorate this significant technological event in the passports of arriving passengers, leaving a memorable impression on visitors to the Kingdom and conference participants, and reflecting the warm welcome and pride in the digital progress the country is witnessing.

“Absher 2025” Conference: A Platform for Digital Leadership

The “Absher 2025” conference holds significant strategic importance, serving as a platform to showcase the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey, spearheaded by the Ministry of Interior through the “Absher” platform. This platform is the Ministry’s technological arm and a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s e-government, having contributed to a qualitative leap in service delivery for citizens, residents, and visitors, saving time and effort and reinforcing the quality of life concepts outlined in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Strategic partnerships and the future of technology

The conference features a strategic partnership with Tuwaiq Academy, a leading institution in programming and advanced technology education, as well as broad participation from major international companies specializing in technology and artificial intelligence. This gathering aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise, showcase the latest digital solutions, and discuss the future of e-services, thereby reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a regional and international hub for technological innovation.

Passport initiatives in promoting national identity

This initiative is not the first of its kind for the General Directorate of Passports; the Directorate has consistently issued special stamps for major national occasions and international events hosted by the Kingdom, such as Founding Day, Riyadh Season, and Formula 1 races. These steps are part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at highlighting the cultural, technological, and sporting dynamism taking place in Saudi Arabia and promoting these events to visitors from the moment they arrive at border crossings.
