The Prime Minister of Pakistan visits Medina and meets with the Crown Prince
In a move to strengthen fraternal and diplomatic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation, arrived in Madinah on Thursday. This visit reflects the Pakistani leadership's commitment to performing Umrah and visiting the Prophet's Mosque, where he offered prayers and paid his respects to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his two companions (may God be pleased with them), amidst a spiritual atmosphere that underscores the deep Islamic bond uniting the two nations.
Upon his arrival at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, the distinguished guest received a grand official welcome. Leading the reception was His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region. Also present were the Mayor of Madinah, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Balihishi; the Regional Police Chief, Major General Yousef Abdullah Al-Zahrani; and the Director of the Royal Protocol Office in the region, Ibrahim bin Abdullah Bari, along with a number of other senior civilian and military officials. This reflects the warm reception and high regard the Kingdom holds for its guests, the leaders of Islamic countries.
