As part of the early and intensive preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season, the CEO of the Eastern Health Cluster, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour to assess the readiness of the health monitoring center at the King Fahd Causeway. He was accompanied on this important field visit by the Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in the Eastern Province, Mr. Alwan Al-Shamrani, and the Executive Director of the Public Health Authority's "Weqaya" branch in the Eastern Sector, Dr. Abdulrahman Abu Dahesh. This step comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to ensure the provision of the highest levels of medical and preventive care for pilgrims arriving via the Kingdom of Bahrain.

These include the King Fahd Causeway linking the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Salwa border crossing with the State of Qatar, the Rub' al Khali crossing connecting the Kingdom with the Sultanate of Oman, and the Al-Batha crossing with the United Arab Emirates.
