96 million people... Striking figures for those visiting the Two Holy Mosques during 20 days

The General Authority for the Care of Affairs explained The Grand Mosque andThe Prophet's Mosque Today, the total number of pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques reached (96,638,865) pilgrims during the period from 1 to 20 Ramadan 1447 AH.
This came according to operational indicators that measure the total number of entries to the prayer areas and Umrah, in a scene that reflects the spiritual and faith-based status of the Two Holy Mosques and the great turnout of Muslims to perform acts of worship in this holy month.

Pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques

The authority reported that the Grand Mosque received 57,595,401 worshippers who performed the five daily prayers and the night prayers, in addition to 15,605,086 Umrah pilgrims.
It also stated that the number of worshippers who performed the five daily prayers and the night prayers at the Prophet's Mosque reached 21,143,259.

The Noble Garden

The number of worshippers in the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah) reached 579,191, while the number of those who greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his two companions (may God be pleased with them) reached 1,715,928.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed that these figures reflect the high level of operational readiness and the integrated system of services provided to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques during Ramadan, ensuring smooth movement and a safe and conducive environment for worship.
