An Iranian official confirms that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the Tehran bombing

The Iranian ambassador to Cyprus confirmed that the new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, was wounded in his legs, arm, and hand in the US-Israeli airstrikes that killed his father, Ali Khamenei, on February 28.
Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, has not appeared in public since his election on Sunday as Supreme Leader, succeeding his father, who was killed on the first day of the war in a bombing that targeted his residence.
Iranian Ambassador to Nicosia, Ali Reza Salaran, told the British newspaper The Guardian that Mojtaba “was also there and was wounded during that bombing.”
He added, “I heard that he was wounded in his legs, hand, and arm. I think he is in the hospital.” He continued, “I don’t think he is in a condition to give a speech.”
