A specialized national and international platform... The Kingdom launches the first Saudi Water Week next June

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture launches Saudi Water Week The first, during the period from (June 28 - July 2, 2026), which comes as an extension of previous editions of the Saudi Water Forum, is a specialized national and international platform that brings together decision-makers, experts, researchers, the private sector and stakeholders in the water sector from inside and outside the Kingdom, within the framework of its continuous efforts to enhance water security, consolidate the sustainable management of water resources, and support scientific research and innovation in this vital sector.
The ministry explained that the Saudi Water Week, which is being hosted by the city of Jeddah, includes a number of specialized events, including the Arab Water Forum, the second consultative meeting of the World Water Forum 2027, as well as more than 97 dialogue sessions, specialized workshops and detailed presentations of the achievements of the water sector in the Kingdom and other national sectors.

Water system development

Week Water stems from the Kingdom's leading role in developing the water sector locally, regionally, and internationally. It aims to enhance the exchange of expertise, address shared challenges, showcase practical solutions and modern technologies, and support strategic partnerships and investments in the water sector, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Saudi Water Week is expected to garner significant attention at the local, regional, and international levels due to its strategic importance and the vital issues it addresses concerning the future of water, its sustainability, and its role in supporting comprehensive development and quality of life.
It is worth noting that the World Water Forum 2027, scheduled to be held in Riyadh, is the world's largest event on water issues, with broad participation from countries, international organizations, and experts. The second consultative meeting of the World Water Forum, to be held during Saudi Water Week, is considered a pivotal milestone in the preparatory process for this global event, reflecting the Kingdom's prominent position and influential role in leading international efforts to address water challenges and strengthen global cooperation in this field.
