During Ramadan, more than 184,000 health services were provided to visitors of the Prophet's Mosque

The healthcare system provided 184,509 health services to Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosquethroughout Ramadan, as part of efforts to facilitate access to and delivery of healthcare according to the highest standards of quality and safety. This enhanced the pilgrims' health experience and enabled them to perform their rituals with peace of mind and ease, in line with the objectives of the "Health Sector Transformation" and "Serving the Guests of God" programs stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The health services provided included 109,793 visits to the emergency department, 64,892 beneficiaries of primary healthcare services, and 8,687 hospital admissions.
In addition, 794 surgical procedures were performed, all within a comprehensive system of highly efficient healthcare services.

Integrated coordination

These efforts were undertaken within the framework of integrated coordination among the various components of the healthcare system to ensure the quality and sustainability of services. The Ministry of Health plays its supervisory role in enhancing the efficiency of services in line with its strategic objectives,
in addition to its regulatory role in promoting compliance with approved regulations, thereby solidifying the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
