The Crown Prince and the King of Jordan discuss the repercussions of the military escalation in the region

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today in Jeddah with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of the relations between the two brotherly countries, discussed regional developments, particularly the repercussions of the military escalation in the Middle East and its impact on the security and stability of the region and the world, and coordinated efforts in this regard.
It was emphasized during the meeting that the repeated Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Kingdom of Jordan, targeting vital and civilian infrastructure, constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region; His Excellency Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and National Security Advisor; and His Excellency Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, President of the General Intelligence Directorate.
From the Jordanian side, the meeting was attended by His Excellency Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates; Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and Mr. Alaa Al-Batayneh, Director of the King's Office.
