Hajj Media Forum: 2000 international visitors learn about the latest technologies for serving pilgrims


welcomedThe Hajj Media Forumover 2,000 international representatives and media professionals. They toured the forum's various sections, which aimed to strengthen international cooperation and showcase the latest developments in digital transformation and services provided topilgrims.
The delegations included representatives from several countries, most notably Jordan, Pakistan, Syria, Kenya, Libya, Egypt, and India, as well as the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Jeddah.
Digital transformation in Hajj
During their tours, visitors were briefed on the integrated services offered by the participating entities at the "Transformation Exhibition," including the technological and organizational efforts that contribute to enriching the experience of pilgrims and visitors.
The entities showcasing their initiatives and services included the Ministry of Media, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Hadiya Association.
The exhibition also highlighted several innovative technological solutions, including the "Nusk" platform, a leading model for facilitating Hajj and Umrah procedures digitally. Additionally, the exhibition showcased virtual reality experiences of visiting historical sites, further enhancing the experience for visitors, pilgrims, and Umrah performers.
Developing the Hajj services system
International delegations commended the high level of digital development and field coordination demonstrated by Saudi government agencies, praising the efforts made in utilizing technology to serve pilgrims and facilitate their performance of the Hajj rituals with ease and peace of mind.
It is worth noting that the Hajj Media Forum is organized by the Unified Media Operations Center for Hajj at the Ministry of Media, in cooperation with the Grand Hajj Symposium.
It serves as a specialized platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing the latest technologies and innovations that support the development of the Hajj services system, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to enhance the experience of pilgrims.
