At least two people were killed in a train collision near Jakarta

The accident occurred near Bekasi Timor station, about 25 kilometers from the Indonesian capital.
A railway company spokesman told Compass TV on the scene that hospital records showed two victims had died.

The spokesman noted that the relevant authorities, including fire brigades, the army and the National Search and Rescue Service, are continuing to work on evacuating victims and the injured.
