In a move reflecting its global leadership, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showcased its remarkable progress in digital infrastructure during its active participation at the United Nations in New York. The Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, along with Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, co-chaired a major international event entitled “Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development.” This prominent event was organized by the Friends of Digital Cooperation Group, in strategic partnership with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), on the sidelines of the UN Science, Technology and Innovation Forum.
