Young people from around the world visit the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Medina

In a move reflecting the depth of cultural exchange and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in serving Islam and Muslims, the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah welcomed an international youth delegation of 150 young people representing 35 Arab and Islamic countries. This visit is part of the "Journey to the Holy Sites" program organized by the Ministry of Sports, which aims to introduce young people from across the Islamic world to the Kingdom's tremendous efforts in caring for the Holy Quran through printing, publishing, and teaching.
A magnificent Islamic monument with a rich history
This visit is of particular importance given the global standing of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, the world's largest printing press dedicated to the Quran. Since its opening in 1405 AH (1985 CE), the Complex has undertaken the noble mission of providing reliable, high-quality copies of the Holy Quran to Muslims worldwide. Its efforts extend beyond printing to include Quranic studies, recording recitations, and translating the meanings of the Quran, making it a beacon of religious and cultural influence emanating from the city of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
A tour through the corridors of mastery and quality
The youth delegation began their tour by watching a documentary showcasing the history of the complex and its stages of development, highlighting the unlimited support it receives from the wise leadership to ensure the Holy Quran reaches Muslims across the globe. Following this, the young people toured the halls of this grand Islamic institution, where they were briefed on the various stages of printing the Holy Quran, from calligraphy and proofreading to final printing and binding. The visitors expressed their profound admiration for the modern technologies employed and the highest standards of quality and accuracy that guarantee the Qurans are free from any printing errors, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to preserving the Book of God.
Bridges of communication through global translations
In the context of promoting the universality of the message, the delegation visited the Translations Department at the Complex, where they were briefed on the ambitious projects to translate the meanings of the Holy Quran into major world languages. These translations are a cornerstone in conveying the tolerant message of Islam and correcting misconceptions among non-Arabic speakers. These achievements are made possible through the close supervision of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and General Supervisor of the Complex, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, who is always keen to dedicate all available human and technological resources to serving the Book of God.
The impact of the visit and the Kingdom's message
The delegation concluded its visit with a comprehensive understanding of the scale of institutional work undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Such visits, organized by the Ministry of Sports, are part of the Kingdom's soft power strategy, contributing to strengthening fraternal ties among the youth of the Islamic world and acquainting them with the cultural and civilizational heritage of the land of the Two Holy Mosques. They affirmed that the exceptional care they witnessed in the Holy Quran reflects the Kingdom's profound sense of responsibility towards the Islamic world.
