Explanation of the "Let Them Circumambulate" service and permits for breaking the fast at the Two Holy Mosques

As part of the transformative shift in the Hajj and Umrah services sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in line with the goals of Vision 2030 aimed at facilitating the pilgrims' journey, the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques continues to launch its innovative digital initiatives. These efforts aim to leverage technology to serve pilgrims, making it easier for them to perform their rituals with devotion and peace of mind, avoiding haphazardness or reliance on unreliable sources.
"Let them circumambulate" service... your digital companion for the rituals
The "Let Them Circumambulate" service is one of the most prominent modern digital services that allows pilgrims performing Umrah and Hajj to dispense with paper books or searching for guides, as the Authority's smart applications provide the "Digital Guide" option. This service is distinguished by providing reliable religious content that includes more than 170 supplications in written and audio formats, in addition to a "Circle Counter" feature that addresses the problem of forgetting the number of circuits during Tawaf and Sa'i, thus ensuring the rituals are completed correctly.
Steps to benefit from the "Let them circumambulate" service:
The authority has outlined an easy path for users to access the service through the official application, according to the following steps:
- Clicking on the "Start Service" icon (and let them circumambulate) will redirect you to the download page.
- Download the app and log in (or create a new account).
- Specify the type of ritual (Tawaf or a complete Umrah).
- Add the service to your shopping cart and complete the order.
- Enter and confirm the booking details, then track the status via "My Orders".
- Direct communication with the pilgrim guide via the application when needed.
- Using assistive tools (audio prayers, round counter, interactive maps of the circumambulation and the Sa’i).
- Evaluate the experience after completion to contribute to the development of services.
Regulating charitable work: Permits for breaking the fast
In other news, as part of early preparations for religious seasons, the authority announced the opening of applications for permits to provide meals for fasting people at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. This initiative aims to regulate charitable work and ensure the provision of healthy and safe meals for pilgrims, in cooperation with the Ihsan platform and the Nusuk Foundation.
Application deadlines and requirements:
The authority clarified that applications are available for two main categories according to specific timetables:
- For individuals: Applications for the Grand Mosque will be accepted from the 3rd to the 5th of Sha’ban, and for the Prophet’s Mosque from the 6th to the 8th of Sha’ban.
- For non-profit organizations: Applications for the Grand Mosque will be accepted from 6 to 8 Sha’ban, and for the Prophet’s Mosque from 9 to 11 Sha’ban.
The authority emphasized that individual applications are limited to one trip only (25 or 50 meals per day), while the minimum for organizations is 10 trips. Payment is processed entirely and securely through the "Ihsan" platform within 72 hours of application submission. The price includes full execution by approved catering companies, thus reinforcing the values of social solidarity and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the Two Holy Mosques during the holy month.
