Unified Admission Dates 1448: University and Scholarship Timetable

The National Unified Admission Platform, "Qabool," has officially announced the approved timeline for university admissions and overseas scholarships for the academic year 1448 AH. This announcement serves as a comprehensive roadmap for high school graduates aspiring to gain admission to public universities, technical colleges, or to join scholarship programs. The process has been divided into 11 precise procedural stages to ensure transparency and fairness.
The importance of unified admission in the educational system
The unified admissions system represents a qualitative leap in the higher education sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to streamline efforts, reduce the waste of university places, and simplify the process for students and their parents through a single digital platform, eliminating the need for separate applications to each university. These measures align with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 Human Capital Development Program, ensuring equal opportunities and linking educational outcomes to the needs of the local and global labor market.
Details of the timelines for admission and scholarship
According to the announced schedule, the admission process extends over several months to ensure data accuracy and give students ample time to choose. The most prominent timelines are as follows:
- The first phase (entering preferences): It starts on November 5 and lasts for a long period until June 24, allowing students to review the available majors and arrange their preferences carefully.
- The second phase (external scholarships): It is dedicated to applying for the “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program for External Scholarships”, and it begins from January 10 to May 7. It is a golden opportunity for those wishing to study at the best international universities.
- The third stage (interviews and tests): It actually begins on April 1 and continues until July 5, and includes specializations that require special skills or military and technical colleges that require initial screening.
Integration with the National Center for Measurement
The platform stressed the need to adhere to the dates of the standardized tests provided by the National Center for Measurement, as this is a prerequisite for calculating the weighted percentage:
- Data update (phase four): The deadline is June 1.
- The achievement test (fifth stage): The last date to take it is June 9, and it is crucial for scientific and health disciplines.
- General Aptitude Test (Stage Nine): June 30th has been set as the deadline for taking it.
Final stages and announcement of results
The period from mid-June to mid-July sees the peak of procedural operations, which include:
- Phase Six: Announcing the scholarship results and confirming acceptance (June 12-14).
- Phase Seven: Closing the addition of specializations with special conditions on June 14.
- Phase Eight: Automated monitoring of high school grades (June 26-27).
- Phase 10: Presenting available opportunities based on grades and selection (June 28 – July 9).
- Eleventh (final) stage: Announcing the final admission results and confirming the seats, from July 14 to 16.
The relevant authorities urge students to follow the platform closely and adhere to the specified deadlines, as the electronic system relies on strict timelines for sorting and processing to ensure the rights of all applicants.
