Tuwaiq Association trains 2,655 young people in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity

In a move reflecting the accelerating pace of human development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in line with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030, the Tuwaiq Association for Human Resources Development a new milestone in its record of empowering Saudi youth. The association declared its success in training and deploying 2,655 qualified young Saudi men and women to the labor market during 2024 and 2025, through a comprehensive package of advanced training programs.
A qualitative leap in technical and professional localization
This announcement comes at a time when the Kingdom is undergoing a radical transformation towards a digital and knowledge-based economy. The association has focused its efforts on vital disciplines that form the backbone of the future, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data science . Graduation of the third batch and women's empowerment
Coinciding with this announcement, the association celebrated the graduation of its third cohort for 2025, which included 20 female trainees specializing in human resources . The graduates were trained according to the latest global professional methodologies and practices, reflecting the association's commitment to empowering Saudi women and enhancing their leadership role in managing organizations and developing work environments.

Meeting the needs of the Eastern Industrial Region
The training programs were designed to address the economic needs of the Eastern Province, the Kingdom's industrial and energy hub. They included specialized fields such as occupational health and safety , a highly sought-after specialization in the region's oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. This approach ensures that training outcomes are met with the actual needs of major companies, thereby enhancing immediate employment opportunities for graduates.

In this context, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Khalid Al-Obaid, affirmed that these achievements would not have been possible without the generous and unwavering support of His Royal Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province and His Royal Highness the Deputy Prince. Al-Obaid noted that the Association has successfully established a professional system for developing talent, with its strategy based on investing in human capital as the most important asset for sustainable development.
Al-Abeed added that providing young people with the necessary technical and professional skills opens up broad horizons for them in the labor market, and is directly consistent with the directions of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aimed at localizing quality professions and leading national cadres to vital sectors.
