This event cannot be viewed in isolation from the broader context of the artistic movement in the Kingdom, as the exhibition is one of the outcomes of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium, which falls under the umbrella of Riyadh Art. This program is one of the largest public art projects in the world, launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and overseen by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, with the aim of transforming Riyadh into an open-air art gallery featuring more than 1,000 artworks and creative landmarks, thus enhancing its standing among the world's cultural capitals.

In its seventh edition, themed "Glimpses of What Will Be," the exhibition showcases 25 unique sculptures created during the Live Sculpture period. This event is distinguished by the use of stones sourced from the heart of the Saudi environment, such as granite and basalt, which a select group of local and international artists have transformed into expressive works that envision the future and reshape the urban landscape of the city.
