Direct admission to the Technical College in Tarif 1447: Specializations and deadlines

The Technical College in Tarif Governorate has announced the opening of direct admissions and registration for those wishing to enroll in diploma programs for the second training semester of the academic year 1447 AH. This announcement comes as part of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training's commitment to absorbing high school graduates and preparing them for the job market. Applications will be accepted starting next Sunday, corresponding to 1 Rajab 1447 AH, and will continue until 25 Rajab 1447 AH, or until all available seats are filled.

Available majors and application process

The college administration clarified that direct admission will take place on campus during the morning hours from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The college has specified four vital specializations available for registration in the morning diploma program:

  • Computer technical support technology.
  • Engine and vehicle technology.
  • Office work technology.
  • Electrical power technology.

The college stressed the need for applicants to create a prior account on the unified admission portal “Qabooly” of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, as a basic condition before going to the college headquarters to complete the final admission procedures.

The importance of technical training and keeping pace with the Kingdom's Vision 2030

This announcement is particularly significant given the major economic transformations underway in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030, which places great emphasis on the technical and vocational training sector. These programs aim to bridge the gap between educational outcomes and the evolving needs of the labor market, especially in the industrial and service sectors. The specializations offered at the Tarf Technical College, such as electrical power and vehicle engines, are fundamental pillars supporting the Kingdom's industrial development and the remarkable growth of renewable energy and vehicle maintenance projects.

The college's role in developing human resources in the Northern Borders region

The Technical College in Tarif plays a pivotal role in the development of the northern region, as the province is located near major industrial and mining projects (such as Waad Al Shamal City). Providing qualified Saudi nationals in technical support, office work, and electrical engineering directly contributes to the localization of jobs in these strategic projects. Through these programs, the college strives to offer a high-quality training environment based on the latest professional standards, empowering young Saudis to compete effectively in the public and private sectors, as well as in entrepreneurship.

In closing its announcement, the college reiterated its call for those wishing to register to quickly create an account through the electronic portal and visit the college headquarters during the specified dates to ensure they obtain a training seat, stressing its commitment to harnessing all its capabilities to serve the trainees.
