Successful separation of Filipino twins: Medical condition stable

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, announced that the health of the conjoined Filipino twins , Clea and Morris Ann, has stabilized significantly a week after their successful separation surgery. The complex and successful operation was performed last Thursday at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital, located within King Abdulaziz Medical City of the Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, marking another medical and humanitarian achievement for the Kingdom.
In detailing the medical condition, Dr. Al-Rabeeah explained that the twin, Maurice Anne, is showing significant improvement; she is now breathing completely normally after being taken off the ventilator. She has also begun feeding through a feeding tube and is gradually interacting with her parents, a truly hopeful sign. Initial neurological examinations have confirmed that her nervous system is completely healthy.
Regarding the twin, Clea, the head of the medical and surgical team indicated that she remains on a ventilator, but her breathing is normal and stable. It is expected that she will be weaned off the ventilator within a day or two at the most. Afterward, the medical team will gradually reduce her sedatives to begin a thorough evaluation of her neurological system. Clea is currently undergoing peritoneal dialysis due to congenital kidney failure, and her heart condition is being closely monitored as it has suffered from muscle weakness since birth.
