The importance of academic achievement tests in the educational process

The Achievement Test (Tahseeli) is one of the most important national standards for admission to Saudi universities, military colleges, and health programs. The test aims to measure a student's achievement in the core science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics) during high school. Its importance lies in the fact that it constitutes a significant portion of the weighted average used by universities to rank applicants, making it a pivotal factor in determining students' academic and professional futures.

The role of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) aims, through these tests, to raise the quality of education and ensure fairness and transparency in university admissions procedures. ETEC continuously works to develop measurement and evaluation tools in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, to guarantee globally competitive educational outcomes. Students are advised to adhere to the specified dates and register early to secure places at centers near their residences, and to prepare thoroughly for the test using reliable resources.
