This impact also extends to parts of Hail and Qassim regions. Meanwhile, the chance of thunderstorms with rain, possibly accompanied by hail and strong winds, remains high in parts of the highlands of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and extending to the Makkah region.
Navigation conditions in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf
Regarding the maritime conditions, the report provided detailed information of interest to fishermen and seafarers. In the Red Sea, surface winds are northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 20 to 43 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights reach 1 to 2 meters in the north and central regions, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the south, resulting in a slight to moderate sea state.
Along the Arabian Gulf coast, surface winds are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 14 to 32 km/h in the northern part, and 20 to 40 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north, and from one to two meters in the central and southern regions, with sea conditions ranging from slight to moderate.
