The Kingdom has consistently been a key supporter of Sudan's stability and security, particularly during times of hardship and political and economic crises. Burhan's current visit comes within the framework of this ongoing support, as Riyadh strives to bridge the gaps between Sudanese parties and support efforts aimed at restoring security and stability throughout the country, especially in light of the current challenges Sudan has faced since the outbreak of the recent conflict.

Regionally, the visit underscores the leading and pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in sponsoring peace efforts in the region, particularly through the Jeddah Platform, which has hosted previous rounds of dialogue aimed at achieving a ceasefire and facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid. Internationally, the international community is closely monitoring Sudanese diplomatic efforts in influential capitals, as Riyadh is viewed as an indispensable partner in any future settlement that guarantees Sudan's unity and territorial integrity and prevents the region from sliding into further instability.
