Soundstorm is more than just a fleeting musical event; it's a cornerstone of the cultural and entertainment transformation underway in Saudi Arabia, in line with the goals of Vision 2030. Soundstorm's biggest stars of 2025: From Post Malone to Cardi B
Over three consecutive days, from December 11th to 13th, the festival hosted more than 250 international and local artists across 14 different stages. The opening night featured a powerful start on the giant Big Beast stage, with performances by Benson Boone, global superstar Post Malone , and Swedish House Mafia, setting the tone for the rest of the festival.
The excitement intensified on the second day with outstanding performances by Balqees, Pitbull, Anima, and DJ Snake. The grand finale on the third night featured Cardi B's in Saudi Arabia, where she delivered an electrifying show that captivated the audience, ensuring an unforgettable conclusion to the event.
Musical diversity and advanced architectural design
The 2025 edition featured a radical overhaul of the festival's infrastructure to ensure smooth visitor flow. The site was divided into diverse zones catering to all musical tastes:
- The North Side (Park Theatre): Dedicated to hip-hop and R&B fans, featuring stars such as Tyla, Zayn, and The Kid LaRoy.
- The West Side (Tunnel and Plexiglas Theatre): This was the destination for fans of techno and electronic music, where Calvin Harris, Fisher and Armin van Buuren shone amidst immersive visual effects.
- The Eastern Side (Taq Theatre): It focused on supporting local and regional talents, with names such as Ayed, Tahani Al Sultan, and the Disco Masr band emerging, reflecting the festival's commitment to developing the local music scene.
