Soundstorm 2025: New design, closer theaters, and an exceptional experience

The media tour for Soundstorm 2025, organized by MDLBEAST, revealed radical changes to this year's highly anticipated edition, aiming to redefine the audience experience and deliver unprecedented global standards in the music entertainment industry. A carefully considered reduction in daily visitor capacity was announced, from 150,000 to 100,000, a strategic move designed to enhance the overall experience, ensure smooth flow, and provide more space for interaction and enjoyment of the performances.

A design that mimics musical cities

The festival organizers showcased the completely redesigned venue in the Banban area of Riyadh, which has been transformed into a fully integrated music city. The architectural changes included shortening the distances between the various stages to facilitate audience movement and reduce the long walking distances that characterized previous editions, allowing visitors to attend a greater number of diverse performances with ease.

Local identity is strongly present

Blending modernity and tradition, the upcoming edition will feature the inauguration of the “Al-Taq” Theater, boasting a unique architectural design inspired by the traditional “Bayt Al-Sha’ar” (a traditional Bedouin tent). This theater reflects the festival’s pride in Saudi cultural identity, offering an artistic platform that combines rich heritage with modern rhythms, showcasing the cultural diversity embraced by the Kingdom.

Exceptional privacy and luxury

The organizers prioritized privacy and comfort, announcing the allocation of four women-only lounges where men are strictly prohibited from entering or taking photographs, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience. In terms of luxurious hospitality, over 69 VIP cabins were prepared, accommodating more than 1,450 people, in addition to exclusive VIP+ areas, reflecting the festival's commitment to providing world-class hospitality services.

Soundstorm and Vision 2030

The Soundstorm Festival, the largest music festival in the Middle East and North Africa, is an integral part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and Quality of Life Program. Since its inception, the festival has successfully positioned Riyadh on the global entertainment tourism map, attracting leading international music stars and millions of visitors from both within the Kingdom and abroad. This annual event, taking place this year from December 11 to 13, contributes to boosting the local economy and supporting young Saudi talent, transforming the Riyadh desert into a vibrant and creative destination.
