The Shura Council refers 21 files to upcoming sessions chaired by Al-Sheikh

In a move reflecting the continued legislative and oversight activity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the General Assembly of the Shura Council held its tenth meeting as part of the second year of its ninth session, at the Council's headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, and attended by a number of the Council's leaders, reflecting the importance of the issues under discussion.

The meeting was attended by high-level officials, including His Excellency the Vice President of the Council, Dr. Meshaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, Her Excellency the Assistant President of the Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council, Mr. Mohammed bin Dakhel Al-Mutairi. During the meeting, the General Assembly reviewed the items on its agenda and decided to refer 21 diverse topics to the agenda of upcoming council sessions. Among the most prominent topics referred was the annual report of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Park Foundation, reflecting the Council's interest in monitoring major development projects and improving quality of life. The referrals also included several draft agreements and memoranda of understanding with sister and friendly nations, covering a range of vital sectors.

The submitted documents included agreements related to cooperation in the tourism and economic sectors, which aligns directly with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying income sources and making tourism a major contributor to the national economy.
