The National Center for Meteorology issued specific warnings for the Riyadh region, as parts of it will experience active winds and blowing dust starting at 9:00 AM and continuing until 6:00 PM. This weather pattern includes the governorates of Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Rayn, Al-Quway'iyah, and Afif. Wind speeds in these areas are expected to reach between 40 and 49 kilometers per hour, accompanied by a significant decrease in horizontal visibility (3-5 kilometers).
State of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf
Regarding the maritime conditions, the report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea will be northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southerly in the southern part, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters. In the Arabian Gulf, thunderstorms with rain are expected in the southern part, which may lead to wave heights of up to two meters, and sea conditions will range from slight to moderate, potentially becoming rough.
