His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today at Al Khaleej Palace in Dammam Their Highnesses the Princes, Their Eminences the Scholars and Their Excellencies the Ministers, along with a large gathering of citizens who came to greet His Highness - may God protect him - in a scene that reflects the depth of the strong ties between the Saudi leadership and its people.
Open Door Policy: A Well-Established Saudi Approach
This reception is an extension of the "open door" policy adopted by the kings of Saudi Arabia since the era of the founder, King Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – and continued by his righteous sons after him. These open councils are a fundamental pillar of the Kingdom's system of governance, as they allow citizens to communicate directly with the rulers, thus strengthening national unity and affirming the leadership's constant responsiveness to the concerns and aspirations of citizens throughout the Kingdom.
