The British Transport Minister and Foreign Secretary discuss airspace management

The Minister of Transport and Logistics, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, reviewed with the UK's Minister of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's distinguished efforts in airspace management. This took place during Al-Jasser's reception of the British Minister and her accompanying delegation at the Authority's headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of the Authority's President, Professor Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailij. Following this, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the British Foreign Secretary conducted a field visit to the Regional Control Center at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the air traffic monitoring mechanism and the management of 24/7 operational processes, as well as the modern technological systems used in airspace control, which contribute to enhancing safety and efficiency.
