The bilateral discussions focused on exploring the significant investment opportunities offered by the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the role of leading Swiss companies in contributing to the Kingdom's mega-development projects. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan, and His Excellency the Minister of Investment, Mr. Fahad Al-Saif, reflecting the strong commitment to translating these understandings into tangible projects. Both countries aim to enhance trade and leverage Switzerland's advanced expertise in the fields of financial technology, healthcare, and clean energy.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Swiss Confederation enjoy strong historical relations spanning decades, with formal diplomatic ties established in 1956. On the Swiss side, the meeting was attended by Her Excellency Helene Bodliger, State Secretary for Economic Affairs; Her Excellency Yasmin Chatila, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom; and His Excellency Gabriel Lochinger, National Security Advisor, along with a number of other senior officials from both countries, underscoring the strategic importance that both sides attach to developing bilateral relations.
