A Syrian pilgrim praises the Kingdom's support for the Syrian people during Hajj

Syrian pilgrim Mahmoud al-Kuzbari praised the noble humanitarian and fraternal stances taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the Kingdom's support for the Syrian people is not a recent development, but rather an extension of a long history of generosity. He explained that these sincere gestures embody the wise leadership's commitment to serving Muslims and standing by them in the various circumstances and crises they face.
A historic journey of humanitarian giving
For decades, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has consistently extended a helping hand to those affected by crises worldwide, particularly in the Middle East. In the Syrian context, Saudi Arabia's role has been particularly prominent through the ongoing relief, medical, and food aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. This long history of humanitarian initiatives reflects the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to the values of Islamic solidarity, as it has hosted hundreds of thousands of Syrians and provided them with a dignified life, underscoring that humanitarianism is a fundamental pillar of Saudi policy.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program and the Kingdom's support for the Syrian people
As part of this profound concern, Hajj Al-Kuzbari was hosted as a guest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Program, which is implemented and supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. Al-Kuzbari affirmed that what he experienced from the moment he arrived in the Holy Land to perform Hajj reflects the immense care provided to the pilgrims. He said, "We were met with the utmost hospitality and welcome, comprehensive services, and great attention from the very first moments of our arrival." He pointed out that this program represents a shining example of the Kingdom's support for the Syrian people and its efforts to alleviate their suffering by enabling them to perform the fifth pillar of Islam with ease and comfort.
Meticulous organization and comprehensive care in the holy sites
The Syrian pilgrim noted that all the needs of the program's guests were met quickly and directly, explaining that any request took only a few minutes to fulfill. This advanced level of service reflects the great attention and care that the Kingdom and its wise leadership give to serving the guests of the Holy Mosque and providing them with every comfort. Al-Kuzbari described his feelings while within the precincts of the Holy Mosque as "very profound feelings that cannot be described in words," emphasizing that his presence in the holiest of places constituted an exceptional moment in his life, especially given what he witnessed in terms of meticulous organization, professional crowd management, and comprehensive medical and security care that ensured the safety of the pilgrims.
A regional and international impact that strengthens Islamic solidarity
Such generous initiatives transcend local boundaries, leaving a clear mark on both regional and international levels. Hosting pilgrims from countries experiencing crises, such as Syria, contributes to strengthening fraternal bonds and solidarity among the peoples of the Muslim world. It also sends a global message that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains the protector of Muslims and the foremost supporter of their just causes, thus reinforcing its leading position as the beating heart of the Islamic world and a center of peace and tolerance.
In closing, Haj Mahmoud Al-Kuzbari expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – for this generous hospitality and esteemed royal gesture. He also thanked the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for the warm welcome, generous hospitality, and continuous care provided to the program's guests, praying to God to preserve the Kingdom and perpetuate its blessings of security, safety, and prosperity.
