Saudi Scouts: 750 volunteers to serve pilgrims during Ramadan
Youth-led efforts launched to serve pilgrims and visitors
With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the public service camps organized by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association have commenced their activities in the vicinity of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. More than 750 young men, boys, and scout leaders are participating in this noble volunteer program, dedicating themselves to serving pilgrims and worshippers and facilitating their spiritual experience during this blessed month.
The program, which runs throughout Ramadan, aims to support the efforts of various government agencies to provide the highest quality services to pilgrims, utilizing the energy of trained and qualified young people. It also seeks to instill the values of volunteerism and national pride in the participants, and to present a positive image of the Kingdom's youth in the field of humanitarian work.

Integrated efforts to serve the guests of God
These camps are organized in partnership with scouting units from various government agencies, including the Ministry of Education, universities, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Ministry of Sports, in an integrated framework aimed at unifying efforts and enhancing the efficiency of services provided. The volunteers' tasks are diverse, encompassing assisting security personnel in managing crowd flow, guiding lost individuals, helping the elderly and people with disabilities, providing first aid, and contributing to the distribution of breakfast meals. More than 400 participants are deployed in Mecca and over 350 in Medina, embodying the values of compassion, cooperation, and social responsibility.
