The Saudi leadership offers condolences to the President of Cyprus on the death of George Vassiliou

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a cable of condolences to His Excellency President Nicos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, on the death of the former President of the Republic, Mr. George Vassiliou, who passed away, leaving behind a prominent political legacy in the history of his country.

In his telegram, the King expressed his sincere feelings, saying: “We received the news of the death of the former President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. George Vassiliou, and we express to Your Excellency, the family of the deceased, and your friendly people our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing that you will not see any harm or misfortune,” stressing, may God protect him, the depth of the human and diplomatic relations that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the friendly Republic of Cyprus.

In the same vein, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable of condolences to His Excellency President Nicos Christodoulides.
