During the meeting, the latest field and humanitarian developments in the Gaza Strip were discussed. Both sides reviewed international efforts to contain the crises and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid. His Highness the Foreign Minister affirmed the Kingdom's unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the need for the international community to unite in finding just and sustainable solutions that guarantee security and peace in the region. In a related context, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs held an important meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, and the Syrian delegation participating in the conference. The meeting addressed the growing fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, which have witnessed remarkable development since the resumption of diplomatic relations and Syria's return to its seat in the League of Arab States, thus paving the way for further joint cooperation.
Both sides welcomed the comprehensive agreement in Syria, which includes the historic step of integrating the self-governing institutions into the Syrian state institutions. This step is a fundamental pillar for strengthening Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and ending years of internal division.
