Saudi Foreign Minister discusses relations with Indonesia and Pakistan
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs , received two separate telephone calls today from his counterparts in the Republic of Indonesia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where the talks focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas.
Saudi-Indonesian talks to enhance joint cooperation
In their first call, His Royal Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Sugyon, the existing frameworks of cooperation between the two brotherly countries. These discussions take place within the context of the deep historical relations that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim-majority country and a strategic partner of the Kingdom in Southeast Asia.
Saudi-Indonesian relations are of particular importance in light of the convergence of views on many Islamic and international issues, as well as the growing economic cooperation aimed at aligning the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 with Indonesian development plans, in addition to the ongoing coordination regarding Hajj and Umrah services, which the Saudi leadership pays great attention to.

Pakistan is a key ally of the Kingdom, with close cooperation in the political, military, and economic spheres.
