The Minister of Hajj inspects the new Arar border crossing to receive pilgrims

As part of ongoing efforts to provide the best possible services to pilgrims, His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, conducted an important inspection visit to the Jadidah Arar border crossing in Arar Governorate, Northern Borders Region. This field visit aimed to directly assess the ongoing preparations and comprehensive arrangements for receiving pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj in 1447 AH. During the visit, His Excellency expressed his sincere gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, for his diligent follow-up and continuous attention to enhancing the readiness of the region's border crossings.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah commended the high level of coordination and integrated efforts among all government agencies operating at the port of entry. During his tour, His Excellency reviewed a detailed simulation of a pilgrim's journey through the port, starting with entry procedures and passport control, continuing through health and preventative services, and culminating in reception, guidance, and traffic management.
