Prince Jalawi Park in Najran: A complete family tourist destination

Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Park stands out as one of the most important tourist and recreational attractions in southern Saudi Arabia, serving as a prime destination for those seeking tranquility and peace amidst stunning natural scenery. This park reflects the significant development in the region's entertainment and municipal services sector, providing a safe and well-equipped haven for families and individuals to enjoy their leisure time, especially during official holidays and weekends.

A green oasis with world-class specifications

The park is distinguished by its vast green spaces, making it a natural lung for the region. Designed to be an ideal destination for all ages, it features dedicated walking and jogging paths that encourage exercise, as well as modern children's play areas that ensure safe recreation. There are also designated seating areas where visitors can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, especially in the evenings and at night when Najran experiences a gentle drop in temperature, adding a special charm to the park.

The Secretariat's efforts and record-breaking numbers in preparation

As part of its ongoing preparations to welcome visitors, the Najran Municipality has intensified its efforts to upgrade the park to the highest standards. These efforts included the maintenance and landscaping of 630,000 square meters , a figure that reflects the scale of the project and the government's commitment to increasing green areas. The work also included pruning and landscaping more than 5,200 trees, planting 304 new trees to enhance the vegetation, maintaining 186 decorative lighting poles to add a touch of beauty at night, and activating seven water fountains to further enhance the park's appeal.

Enhancing quality of life and Vision 2030

The development of Prince Jalawi Park cannot be viewed in isolation from the broader national context; this direct focus aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 , specifically the Quality of Life Program. These initiatives aim to enhance the urban landscape in Saudi cities and provide high-quality recreational options that promote the mental and physical well-being of citizens and residents. Public parks and gardens are a cornerstone of humanizing cities, providing social spaces that foster family and community bonds.

Najran: A promising tourist destination

The Najran region is gaining increasing importance on the Kingdom's domestic tourism map, thanks to its diverse geography and rich heritage. The development of Prince Jalawi Park is bolstering the region's tourism infrastructure, encouraging visitors from both within and outside Najran to frequent these sites. The municipality continues its regular maintenance of public facilities and children's play areas, as well as its ongoing efforts to ensure cleanliness and the sustainability of these services, providing a comprehensive and enjoyable tourist experience for visitors to the region.
