Medical evacuation of Saudi citizens from Cairo by Ministry of Defense plane
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo announced the success of a medical evacuation operation for a Saudi citizen, male and female, due to their poor health condition and their urgent need for advanced medical care. They were transferred from the Arab Republic of Egypt to the homeland to complete their treatment.

According to details revealed by the embassy on its official account, the operation was carried out in direct and effective coordination with the relevant Egyptian authorities. The citizens were transported via a Saudi Ministry of Defense medical evacuation aircraft. The plane took off from Cairo International Airport bound for the Kingdom to ensure the two patients reached specialized hospitals as quickly as possible.
The embassy confirmed that this move came within the framework of its ongoing efforts to monitor the conditions of Saudi citizens in Egypt and provide them with the necessary support, especially in emergency and critical cases that require urgent intervention.
