Saudi Arabia supports Ukraine with life-saving medical equipment
As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing international humanitarian efforts to alleviate crises and disasters, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has taken a significant new step by providing healthcare facilities in the most affected areas of Ukraine with a wide range of life-saving medical equipment. This initiative comes in response to the urgent need to support the Ukrainian healthcare sector, which faces immense challenges in ensuring the continuity of medical services for those affected.

The medical aid package included modern equipment and technologies designed to enhance the efficiency of operating rooms and intensive care units. This included 15 advanced anesthesia machines, 8 sophisticated cardiac monitoring and stimulation devices, and 15 electrosurgical units. Additionally, 15 blood warmers, a vital component in emergencies and major surgeries, were provided, along with 7 automated biochemical analyzers, an advanced microbiological analyzer, and a variety of other essential medical equipment lacking in many field hospitals and health centers.
