Sahlat service in Unaizah: 82% growth and 100,000 beneficiaries by 2025

In a significant achievement reflecting the accelerating pace of digital transformation in the Saudi Arabian healthcare sector, the "Sahlat" service at King Saud Hospital in Unaizah Governorate recorded a remarkable leap in its operational performance, achieving a growth rate exceeding 82% during 2025. The Qassim Health Cluster announced that the service successfully reached over 100,000 beneficiaries, demonstrating the effectiveness of the strategic plans designed to facilitate patient access to healthcare.

Record numbers reflect the scale of the achievement

Official statistics released by the Qassim Health Cluster revealed that the total number of beneficiaries of electronic services through the "Sahlat" platform reached 100,897 last year. Laboratory services topped the list of most frequently requested services, serving 30,632 clients, reflecting the growing reliance on technology to obtain lab results without long waiting times.

In terms of the figures, outpatient clinics came in second, providing care to 24,573 beneficiaries, followed by digital radiology services, which benefited 14,312 patients. The service also included the patient affairs sector, serving 11,544 beneficiaries, confirming the comprehensiveness of the digital system across all vital departments within the hospital.

Digital transformation and the goals of Vision 2030

This growth is not just a passing figure; it is a direct reflection of the efforts of the Ministry of Health and the Qassim Health Cluster in implementing the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the Health Sector Transformation Program. This transformation aims to restructure health services to be more comprehensive and accessible, with digital services like "Sahlat" contributing to reducing congestion within hospital corridors, increasing operational efficiency, and radically improving the patient experience by saving time and effort.

Development of specialized services

Growth wasn't limited to general services; it extended to specialized centers as well. Data showed that the Diabetes Center served 7,482 patients, the Dental Center saw 6,771 beneficiaries, the Eye Center provided services to 3,006 patients, and the Physiotherapy Center served 2,577. These figures demonstrate the patients' confidence in digital channels for managing their appointments and monitoring their health in specialized and critical fields.

The importance of the service and its societal impact

The importance of the "Sahlat" service lies in its role as an effective link between service providers and beneficiaries, enabling citizens and residents of Unaizah Governorate and the Qassim region in general to easily access routine services remotely or book appointments. This development directly contributes to improving quality of life indicators and reduces waste of human resources and time, allowing medical staff to focus on critical cases and provide high-quality medical care.

This achievement reinforces the ongoing efforts of the Qassim Health Cluster to enhance the digital infrastructure and strive to achieve the highest levels of beneficiary satisfaction, ensuring the provision of integrated and sustainable healthcare according to the highest international standards.
