The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and its suburbs witnessed another bloody night, as a Russian drone attack targeting the Vyshgorod area on the outskirts of the capital resulted in the death of one person and injuries to 11 others, continuing the series of aerial attacks that Ukrainian cities have been suffering from since the start of the Russian invasion.

Ukrainian authorities confirmed the attack, which occurred late Saturday night. Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv region's military administration, detailed the tragic incident on his official Telegram channel, stating, "Unfortunately, as a result of an enemy attack on Vyshgorod, one person was killed and 11 others were injured." The Ukrainian official clarified that a child was among the injured, highlighting the significant risks faced by civilians in residential areas.
Kalashnik added that emergency and ambulance teams rushed to the scene immediately after the attack. Six of the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, while the others received first aid at the scene. Local authorities are currently assessing the damage to buildings and infrastructure in the targeted area.
