Riyadh Season 2025 exceeds 8 million visitors with exceptional events

In a new achievement reflecting the growing stature of Saudi Arabia as a global tourist destination, Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced that Riyadh Season 2025 has surpassed 8 million visitors since its launch last October. This record number is not merely a statistic, but a strong indicator of the success of the Kingdom's entertainment strategy and its ability to attract millions from within and outside the country through exceptional events.
Achievements that align with the Kingdom's Vision 2030
This massive turnout is the culmination of continuous efforts that began with the launch of the first edition of Riyadh Season in 2019, which came as a pivotal part of the Quality of Life Program initiatives, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Over its successive years, the season has succeeded in transforming the capital, Riyadh, into a major attraction on the regional and international tourism and entertainment map, contributing to diversifying sources of income and strengthening the local economy through the tourism sector and supporting services.
Area diversity: from Boulevard World to Al Suwaidi Park
The various zones of the season witnessed a massive influx of visitors, with Al Suwaidi Park center stage with its distinctive cultural events celebrating the heritage of different nations. It offered a rich experience encompassing cuisine, arts, fashion, and handicrafts from a number of countries, thus promoting the concept of cultural exchange and openness to the world. Meanwhile, Boulevard City and Boulevard World continued to attract visitors thanks to their world-class theaters, concerts, and experiences inspired by diverse cultures, allowing visitors to travel the world in one place.
Specialty events: sports, technology, and adventure
The success of Riyadh Season 2025 was not limited to traditional entertainment, but also included high-quality events that attracted diverse interests:
- Riyadh Motor Show: A major destination for motor enthusiasts and modern technology lovers, showcasing the latest models and innovations in the automotive world.
- Major sporting events: The Ring IV world boxing night boosted the public momentum, confirming Riyadh’s ability to host the biggest global fights.
- Beast Land, presented by the famous content creator MrBeast, has recorded a large turnout from the youth and children category thanks to its interactive experiences and live adventures.
New destinations and a sustainable impact
The Groves district has emerged as a sophisticated destination combining upscale entertainment with exceptional dining experiences, adding a new dimension to visitor options, alongside the zoo, which remains a top choice for families and school trips. Surpassing 8 million visitors in such a short period confirms that Riyadh Season is no longer just a seasonal event, but an economic and cultural engine that solidifies Riyadh's position as the entertainment capital of the Middle East. Visitor numbers are expected to continue rising as more surprises and events are unveiled in the coming weeks.
