Riyadh to host Innoprom Industrial Exhibition 2025 to promote partnership

The Saudi capital, Riyadh, is preparing to host a major economic and industrial event: Industrial Exhibition , which will take place from February 8 to 10 at The Arena. This event reflects the deepening and growing ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation, particularly in the industrial, technological, and investment sectors.

A global platform for industrial innovation

The Innoprom trade fair is Russia's largest and most prominent industrial event, held annually for over 15 years in Yekaterinburg, the country's industrial heartland. Riyadh's selection to host an international edition of this exhibition underscores the Kingdom's strategic position as a regional and global logistics and industrial hub, and aligns with the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to localize advanced industries and diversify the Kingdom's sources of income.

Strengthening economic relations and aligning visions

In 2025, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be selected as a partner country for this important event, with high-level participation led by the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Anton Alekhanov, along with a select group of leaders from major industrial companies and investment agencies. The exhibition enjoys the sponsorship and support of the Saudi Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, serving as a vital platform for building strategic partnerships and launching new development projects that benefit both countries.

Extensive participation from industry and technology leaders

The exhibition is expected to see a large Russian presence, exceeding 250 companies, where a select group of Russian companies will showcase their latest innovations in vital areas including:

  • Manufacturing advanced machinery and spare parts.
  • Space technologies and peaceful nuclear energy.
  • Smart city solutions and digital transformation.
  • Developing infrastructure, transportation and energy solutions.

Leading the list of participants are Russian industry giants such as Rostec, Rosatom, and the space agency Roscosmos, as well as Transneft, providing a rare opportunity for Saudi companies to learn about the latest global technologies and explore knowledge transfer opportunities.

Strong Saudi presence and promising investment opportunities

On the other hand, the exhibition features a strong Saudi presence, with over 1,000 participants and 43 Saudi companies, in addition to key government entities such as the "Invest in Saudi Arabia" platform, the "Made in Saudi Arabia" program, and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON). This significant participation aims to showcase promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom and attract foreign direct investment, thereby strengthening the industrial sector's position as a vital pillar of the national economy.

The exhibition has announced that registration is now open for the events via the official link . The schedule includes a packed program of panel discussions and B2B meetings, headlined by the plenary session entitled "Investing in the Future: Innovation and Industrial Cooperation".

It is worth noting that Riyadh successfully hosted this event in 2023, establishing a solid foundation for ongoing cooperation. The 2025 exhibition will build on those successes and open up broader horizons for technical and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
