Princess Nourah University launches the Women in Science Pioneers Program to empower female graduates

In a strategic move aimed at empowering Saudi women, the College of Science at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will host the “Pioneering Women in Science Graduates” program next Sunday. This program is a unique initiative to enhance the skills of female graduates from within and outside the university, equipping them with the necessary academic and professional knowledge to enter the job market effectively and confidently. The program will be held at the college campus.
Details of the Women in Science Program
The program, which runs until February 10, includes an intensive series of specialized training workshops. These workshops cover vital areas such as scientific research, data analysis, and the evolving demands of the job market, contributing to the development of scientific and practical skills and enhancing awareness of future career paths.
The training workshops cover a range of key topics, most notably the "Scientific Research and Fair Publication" workshop, which aims to equip graduates with the necessary tools to write rigorous scientific research. The program also includes the "Your Path to the Job Market" workshop, designed to develop the personal and professional skills required for career success, as well as the "Data Analysis and its Scientific Applications" workshop, which trains participants in the application of data in modern research and scientific fields.
The context of empowerment and Vision 2030
This academic and training movement is inseparable from the broader context of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which places great emphasis on empowering women and increasing their participation in the labor market. Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, as the world's largest women's university, is a cornerstone in achieving these goals by bridging the gap between academic output and the actual needs of the business sector.
This program is of particular importance due to its focus on future skills, specifically “data analysis”, which has become the language of the age and the backbone of the digital economy, giving graduates a high competitive advantage when applying for jobs in the public and private sectors.
Strategic goals and accredited certifications
It is worth noting that the program is a specialized training initiative organized by the College of Science, represented by the Business and Project Management Office. Participants receive accredited certificates to enhance their resumes. The “Pioneering Women in Science Graduates” program is an extension of the college’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills of its faculty and graduates, and a direct contribution to achieving the goals of the university’s strategic plan by preparing competitive talent, promoting values and knowledge, and providing a sustainable learning environment that supports innovation and excellence.
