With the dawn of this blessed day, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, 1447 AH, the caravans of pilgrims began their awe-inspiring journey to the sacred plains of Arafat, reciting the Talbiyah and Takbir, filled with reverence and tranquility. Divine care enveloped these guests of the Most Merciful as they fervently supplicated and prayed, beseeching God Almighty to grant them forgiveness, mercy, and deliverance from Hellfire, on this day when God, Exalted is He, boasts to His angels of His servants who have come to Him disheveled and dusty from every distant corner of the earth.
The pilgrims' journey to Arafat was accompanied by meticulous and intensive security monitoring from various relevant sectors. Security and traffic personnel were deployed along vehicle routes and pedestrian paths to manage the crowds according to pre-approved movement and transportation plans. These measures were implemented with utmost care to guide the pilgrims and ensure their safety. With all government sectors fully prepared to serve the pilgrims, comprehensive medical, ambulance, and logistical services were made available throughout Arafat to meet the needs of the pilgrims who had gathered to perform the fifth pillar of Islam.

Standing on the plains of Arafat holds profound historical and religious significance in the Muslim consciousness. It was in this sacred place that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) delivered his Farewell Sermon, which established the principles of human rights, equality, social justice, and the sanctity of life and property. Since then, this great ritual has continued year after year, reminding Muslims of the foundations of their faith and their glorious history. Smooth movement and departure to Muzdalifah
The holy sites are witnessing a remarkable smooth flow of traffic as pilgrims move from Mina to Arafat. Today, God willing, the pilgrims will perform the combined and shortened prayers of Dhuhr and Asr with one Adhan and two Iqamas at the Namira Mosque, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said: “Learn your rituals from me.” As the sun sets on this blessed day, the pilgrims will begin their smooth journey to Muzdalifah, where they will perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers and spend the night until dawn of the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, following the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who stayed there and prayed Fajr, in preparation for the stoning of the Jamarat al-Aqaba and the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
