A long history of caring for the guests of God

For decades, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has placed serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors at the forefront of its priorities. Caring for pilgrims is an extension of a long-standing and deeply rooted approach adopted by the Kingdom since its founding. This care is manifested in the ongoing expansions of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, and the development of infrastructure in Mecca and the Holy Sites to accommodate the increasing numbers of Muslims who flock there annually to perform the fifth pillar of Islam. This historical commitment reflects the Kingdom's leading role in the Islamic world and its unwavering dedication to facilitating the performance of religious rites for all Muslims without exception.

In this context, Palestinian pilgrim Ahmed Mahmoud explained that the Hajj journey was easy from the beginning, noting that what he witnessed in terms of development in services and organization reflects the Kingdom’s status and leadership in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
