On a magical Riyadh night, in an exceptional musical evening, the "Artist of the Arabs," Mohammed Abdu, his connection with his vast audience, performing a grand concert at the Mohammed Abdu Arena, the venue bearing his name, as part of the sixth Riyadh Season . The concert, which saw tickets sell out completely in record time, was held under the auspices of the General Entertainment Authority, with the direct supervision of Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh, and professionally organized by Rotana Music Group.

In a gesture reflecting the continuity of generations, the concert opened with a performance by the young Saudi artist Rami Abdullah , considered one of the most promising voices in the music scene. Rami presented a selection of Mohammed Abdu's masterpieces, showcasing his distinctive vocal abilities, which were well-received by the audience. Backstage, he expressed his gratitude for the unlimited support provided by Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh to young talents, revealing that he is preparing new works to be released soon in collaboration with Rotana, thus confirming the continued vitality of the Saudi artistic movement in infusing new blood into the music scene.
60 years of continuous giving
Upon taking the stage, the Artist of the Arabs was greeted with a thunderous applause, prompting him to express his profound gratitude to the discerning Riyadh audience. In a moving speech, Mohammed Abdu attributed his enduring success over 60 years to God's grace, his dedication to his work, and the love of his fans, saying, "What I have sown over sixty years, I reap today in the love of the public." The evening was not without its personal and family moments, as Mohammed Abdu expressed his immense pride in his son, Abdulrahman, who entered the world of music through its academic gateway by studying at the Conservatoire in France. The renowned Arab artist revealed his collaboration with his son as composer on the song "Jat wa Aqbalat," praising his son's piano skills and predicting a bright future for him. He also teased the audience about his new work, "Al-Mudawi," with lyrics by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser and music by Ahmed Al-Harmi, demonstrating his continued passion for presenting new and distinctive works.
