Saudi Interior Ministry: Execution of 3 terrorists in the Eastern Province

The Saudi Ministry of Interior issued an official statement announcing the execution of three citizens in the Eastern Province, after they were convicted of committing serious terrorist crimes that threatened the security and stability of the nation. This announcement reaffirms the Kingdom's firm approach in confronting all those who attempt to tamper with the country's resources or endanger the lives of citizens and residents.
The statement issued by the Ministry detailed the identities and crimes attributed to the convicted individuals: Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hussein Al Abu Abdullah, Musa bin Jaafar bin Abdullah Al Sakhman, and Reda bin Ali bin Mahdi Al Ammar, all of whom are Saudi citizens. Security and judicial investigations revealed their direct involvement in a series of criminal acts, including shooting at security personnel, vehicles, and security facilities, which constitutes a blatant attack on the prestige and authority of the state. They were also convicted of manufacturing explosives and possessing weapons for terrorist purposes, in addition to joining a foreign terrorist organization that aims to destabilize security and spread chaos within the Kingdom.
In line with the Kingdom's judicial procedures to ensure justice, the statement clarified that security authorities apprehended the perpetrators, and thorough investigations led to their indictment for the aforementioned crimes. The accused were referred to the competent court, where they underwent a fair trial with all due judicial guarantees, and a ruling was issued confirming their guilt. The verdict was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal decree was issued to enforce the legally mandated punishment. This reflects the precision and integrity of the Kingdom's judicial system and its gradual approach to ensuring the rights of defendants before the execution of final judgments.
The execution of this sentence carries profound implications regarding the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' government's commitment to maintaining security and achieving justice, as security is the cornerstone of development and prosperity. The Kingdom consistently emphasizes that it will not tolerate any entity or individuals attempting to target security personnel or terrorize innocent civilians, and that the long arm of the law will reach anyone who dares to commit such criminal acts. The execution of the death penalty on Wednesday, 11/07/1447 AH (corresponding to 31/12/2025 CE) serves as a powerful deterrent message to anyone contemplating joining terrorist organizations or taking up arms against the state.
The Ministry of Interior concluded its statement by affirming its commitment to implementing the provisions of Islamic Sharia against anyone who attacks innocent people and violates their fundamental right to life and security, while warning that Sharia punishment will be the inevitable fate of anyone who seeks to spread corruption on earth or threaten social peace.
