As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to enhance services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kadana Development and Investment Company, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of Kadana's performance efficiency centers in the Holy Sites. This strategic step is part of the meticulous field monitoring to ensure the highest levels of readiness and preparedness to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God during the Hajj season, and to guarantee a safe and convenient spiritual experience.
A long journey in developing Hajj infrastructure
Historically, since its founding, the Saudi leadership has placed great importance on developing the Holy Sites and expanding the Two Holy Mosques. With the increasing number of Muslims performing Hajj annually, the need for sustainable institutional solutions has become paramount. This led to the establishment of the "Kadana" company as the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, with the aim of bringing about a qualitative leap in infrastructure and facilities. During the tour, His Excellency the Minister inspected the “Malik” Center, dedicated to managing reports. He reviewed the workflow mechanisms designed to enhance operational efficiency in the Holy Sites. The center operates through a comprehensive central management system that ensures rapid response and resolution of reports, while achieving the highest levels of coordination among the various stakeholders. The center implements precise operational mechanisms, including unified report management and data analysis to proactively address challenges. It also receives reports, directs them to the relevant authorities, follows up until final resolution, and builds an operational database that contributes to reducing processing time and supports future planning.
“Tasleem” Center and Smart Digital Transformation
The inspection visit also included the “Tasleem” center, whose primary role is to enhance the beneficiary experience by providing integrated digital services. The center aims to streamline camp handover and collection procedures through a unified digital platform, thereby increasing efficiency, accuracy, and site readiness. A comprehensive website and mobile application have been developed to facilitate these procedures, along with the establishment of a central database and the implementation of an advanced information security system. These steps reflect KADANA’s commitment to transitioning towards smart digital solutions to ensure the highest standards of reliability and security.
