Media Bridge concludes its activities with 5,000 visitors at the Saudi Forum

In a successful conclusion to the Saudi Media Forum 2026, the Ministry of Media concluded its distinguished participation with the "Media Bridge" pavilion, which proved a major attraction for visitors and those interested in the media industry. The event, held in the Boulevard 2030 area from February 2nd to 4th, witnessed a large turnout exceeding 5,000 visitors, reflecting the growing interest in the media sector and its rapid transformations in the Kingdom.
Widespread engagement and record numbers
The "Media Bridge" area witnessed a remarkable turnout of media professionals, with over 1,145 journalists from within the Kingdom and abroad in attendance, in addition to organizing more than 452 informational tours. These tours aimed to introduce visitors, including students and staff from more than five Saudi universities, to the latest technologies and trends in the world of communication, under this year's forum theme: "Media in a Changing World.".
An immersive media experience across 4 regions
The ministry's space was distinguished by offering a comprehensive interactive experience that moved visitors from the theoretical side to practical application through four main areas:
- Knowledge Bridge: This area focused on knowledge and skills development, hosting specialized workshops such as "How to Shine on Stage?" by media personality Fatima Fahd, and the "Your Digital Account as a Media Tool" workshop by Malek Al-Ruqi, providing participants with practical tools to develop their media presence.
- Ask the Media: This area provided a direct consulting platform, where more than 510 visitors benefited from the expertise of 11 leaders and experts in the Ministry of Media, which helped guide young talents and provide accurate answers about their career paths.
- On-air: This was the most vibrant area, where visitors experienced a realistic simulation of the media work environment. The area recorded over 2,100 minutes of test broadcasts, allowing participants to try out the roles of news anchor, podcast host, and spokesperson, helping to discover promising new talent.
- Saudipedia: This space provided a national and cultural dimension through interactive tests that measured visitors’ knowledge of general national information, based on the content of the Saudi Encyclopedia “Saudipedia”.
Strategic dimensions and human capital development
This initiative comes within a broader context reflecting the Ministry of Media's strategy to enhance local content and develop human capital in the sector. By integrating technology with practical application, "Media Bridge" seeks to bridge the gap between academic outputs and the evolving demands of the labor market. These events underscore the Kingdom's commitment to building a sophisticated media ecosystem capable of competing regionally and internationally, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030, which places particular emphasis on quality of life and youth empowerment.
The “Media Bridge” has succeeded in transforming abstract ideas into practical actions, and media messages into tangible impact, thus consolidating the Saudi Media Forum’s position as a leading platform for shaping the future of media in the region.
